KOHO Roadmap 2025

It would be nice if there was a direct bank transfer ability (or even the ability to set it up as a 'bill payment to Koho' option from other banks) between personal bank accounts. This would remove the limitations of etransfers, not having the account you want to transfer from connected to a bank card, and not having a 'Visa' or 'MasterCard' debit card.

My current interest rate with KOHO is 5%, but I earn less interest on my balance than my friend who uses Scotiabank whose interest is compounded daily.

We should be able to schedule bill payments to execute on a future date.

On Koho Website, It is impossible to have access to the vault, goals, and many other features. I tend to use both because the website lacks those features.

I would love to have more than one vault. For example, it would be great to squirrel away rent money in one vault, emergency funds in another and "fun money" in another, etc.

Be able to import our transactions data into an accounting software using Open Financial Exchange (OFX) requests. Canadian banks are not really into this... but at least some of them let us download our transactions in OFX format instead of giving us an URL that we can use to synchronize transactions. Be able to do that would be awesome. I know that we can download statements in CSV but that's not especially useful for accounting software and ease of use.

Please allow us to change the deposit dates for goals. Right now I have all my goals set biweekly but I can’t choose which biweekly date. I’d like it to come out with my paycheques not a bunch of random dates biweekly. I hate seeing the “missed deposit” post in my timeline!

Give people who have direct deposit a discount on the premium plans.

For a small fee, allow users to order a replacement physical card in a new colour. For example, if your card is lost/stolen/compromised, you can choose to get a free replacement in the same colour as your existing card, just like now. Or, if your card is lost/stolen/compromised you can pay a small fee ($10 or less) to pick a new colour for your replacement physical card. Perhaps this option is also made available when your card is due to expire soon; pay a small fee for your new card to be a new colour.
